rahman anna is a scientist 1st & then a composer. thats why his music is immortal. another dimension off the matrix
How to use Pure2? How to connect with Presonus AR16C Mixer and Pro Tools? How to convert audio? Plz
If you want to know what any guitar player uses, go watch him in a small club. Even if the name plates are removed you can still see a Marshall jcm 800 or a Fender combo. Some bands are so secretive they won’t even put gear on stage. That’s when you realize that the gear is truly secondary to pure creation, it is only an element to an artist. If you can’t write songs or play it doesn’t really matter.
Become Dilip Kumar again
Repeat, or typo?
2024...?
Podcasts launched on RUclips on October 2023 so we're gradually adding our back catalogue in addition to the new releases. There's a first published date in the text.
@@soundonsound I missed that. I scan too fast so that I avoid wasting time, lol. I seem to waste more time that way, unfortunately.
Great video. I'm going to share this with my audio students. (Most have never even seen an analog tape, much less an SSL console.)
I especially appreciate the cumulative comparisons. It would also be great to do an editor's favorite mix; mine would be XLII or EB on vocals, B-ULS on the acoustic, and the XLS on everything else. The latter really has some beef to it that's great on the electrics.
Long live the DX7
Fusion always been your process sir 🫶
When wud i :(
It’s a digital foghorn/fart machine … 🤔 Seems great for people who are into boats, and ‘butt-stuff’. So, not for me … but I’m sure someone is going to love it.
"Im on perc now" 😂😂😂
THE GOAT
I'd rather read him than watch him interviewed, he doesn't come over well in the latter
I remember Paul White when he was editor of home studio recording in the late 80s…great times
Whats the movie you guys are talking about please?
It's 'The Ballad Of Don Lewis'. Here's the official website - www.donlewisleo.com/ - or you can pick it up on Amazon.
Oh hell yeahhhhhhh
What a great listen. Thanks for posting!!!
damn that's so cool
Uauuuu, It’s sounds like a god’s voice to us!!
You got Octamed V4 in the back in MIDI mode 👽
Slipmat - Breakin’ Free Awesome track
Really cool!
Nice
Visiting once this studio, will be a life time achievement. Thank you sir ARR, for such innovative work
the hoof mic
I’ll never be able to look at my wall of vinyl the same again! That was an amazing insight! Thanks for sharing!
How come that the audio quality of a recording on audio is this bad?
15:00 I also can't tell which tracks used MIDI and which didn't. The album sounds very consistent to me.
Excellent sound and wholly appropriate for the music. God work! I too would be interested in other styles recorded using this configuration as well as other minimal mining techniques.
Amens best break ever
He sounds drunk
Love it
Very cool....would be interesting to see/hear other (non retro) styles of music recorded in this way.
“i try to keep up more with new music instead of new music technology” so good
Why the audio quality in this video is so bad?
HEY ! VERY NICE HERE !!! KIND REGARDS YAN
XLS sounds like trash Unless you get it on sale :)
Is there a link to the full video?
Wish more episodes showed up on the Electronic Music pod feed. Using macOS Podcasts.
What's long step Moses? @Mark Mynett
Oh... Long stemmed roses. Clearer on the distance example
Thanks 🍻
Fantastic interview, super informative. Really hoping he works with Green again!
Even 8 years on these four videos are absolutely superb for showing some of the possibilities for sub-projects. Brilliant. Thank you.
Thanks for the interview. I very much enjoy Henke's various philosophical perspectives and always come away with some new insight.
Robert is my HERO! Much love ❤
MUSIC...............AS ENIGMATIC AND DEEP AS EVER..............I REALLY CANT STILL BELIEVE THAT IT CAN CURE WORST MENTAL ILLNESSES ALSO, INCLUDING SCHIZO................ITS TRUE!!!!!
I think the main guitar used for both Rated R and Songs for the Deaf was the Ovation Ultra GP loaded with Dimarzio Super 2s. I can hear it on Rated R. The Dimarzios are obvious to me. He's holding it in pretty much all the footage of the sessions that exist and in live shows at the time. His main rhythm tone didn't change a ton between those two albums, although I think he used a different guitar on no one knows.
Aged old Nicotine stain yellow colour isnt working for me, Needs an all white or Noir edition.
